FINCAPES supports the creation of modelling tools to accurately forecast potential loss and damage under various climate change-exacerbated flooding scenarios. These efforts aim to better inform and drive action to strengthen flood adaptation and mitigation efforts at national and local levels, thereby increasing the environmental and financial resilience of vulnerable rural and urban communities, and better enabling government and businesses to safeguard assets.
